Terms & Conditions for Step By Step Events UK

Introduction: These Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between clients ("you", "the Client") and DJs facilitated by Step By Step Events UK for events and services acquired through www.step-by-stepevents.co.uk.

Nature of Agreement: Step By Step Events UK acts solely as a facilitator, connecting clients with DJs. Any agreement for services is between the DJ and the Client. Step By Step Events UK is not responsible for any claims, damages, or disputes arising from these services.

Scope of Services: DJs sourced through Step By Step Events UK provide music and entertainment services, which include but aren't limited to music selection, MC services, and other related services.

Equipment & Compliance: DJs will bring the necessary equipment. Clients are responsible for ensuring the venue provides a safe setup space and power source. All equipment used by DJs is PAT tested and compliant with UK regulations. DJs maintain valid Public Liability Insurance.

Fees & Payment: Fees vary depending on service specifics. Typically, a non-refundable deposit is required upon booking, with the remaining amount payable by a specified date.

No Refund Policy: Except where otherwise specified, payments made are non-refundable.

Standard of Work: DJs commit to offering services in line with industry standards in the UK.

Music Selection: DJs will try to accommodate music preferences; however, availability might be restricted due to licensing or other issues.

Client Responsibilities: Clients should ensure venue accessibility for the DJ setup and breakdown.

Cancellation: Deposits are forfeited upon cancellation. Cancellations close to the event date may require full payment. If a DJ can't perform, efforts will be made for a suitable replacement or potential refunds.

Force Majeure: Neither Step By Step Events UK nor the DJs are liable for non-performance due to unforeseen circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Dispute Resolution: Parties are encouraged to seek mediation before considering litigation.

Governing Law: These T&Cs, and any agreement stemming from them, are governed by the laws of England & Wales.

Amendments: Step By Step Events UK reserves the right to change these T&Cs at any time. Continued use of the site after changes constitute acceptance of the new terms.
